Pronunciation and Spelling Note: In South Korea, the family name (Kim) is written and said before the given name (Yuna). In English-speaking countries, some people (even Korean students) switch these around (Yuna Kim). Also, the commonly used English pronunciation of Yuna (as used in this podcast) is different from the Korean pronunciation of Yu-na (yeon-a). Rumor has it that Yuna/Yu-na actually likes the English pronunciation of her name.
